On the late afternoon of the 22nd of September the skies opened up and it finally rained! Not just a sprinkle either. It rained all afternoon, evening, and night. From my best estimation, it's been about 5-6 weeks since our last rain here in Colorado Springs, a sum of time my dry skin can attest to!
And you thought we wouldn't get any rain yesterday :) It was so nice to smell the damp air!
